Mike Mooney, Director of RTW, Inc.

Mike Mooney completed a rehabilitation counseling Masters Degree in 1979 and internship in career counseling. His work has focused on vocational counseling.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Vocational Experts (ABVE) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. He is a past President of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals-Illinois Chapter.

Mike has worked in the private sector of vocational rehabilitation since 1979 and started Return to Work, Inc. in 1982.  He has consulted municipal, State, and Federal agencies on their disabled workers.  He has taken case assignments from petitioners and respondents on worker compensation cases.

Mr. Mooney's 42 years of experience has included cases of personal injury, worker compensation, Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA), Social Security Disability Income appeals, Employment Law/Discrimination, Divorce/Marital Dissolution,  and Long Term Disability.  Many of his cases have involved complex musculoskeletal, psychological, training, and job placement issues.
Mike Mooney is the Director of RTW, Inc, and has over 30 years of counseling experience. He has worked with the Industrially injured for over 30 years.  He earned a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is the Past President of the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (ILARP).
